Snow Blowing

If you’re looking for a way to keep your driveway and sidewalks clear of snow this winter, look no further than our snow blowing services! We’ll take care of all the hard work for you so that you can enjoy your winter worry-free.

Unlike snow plowing, snow blowing actually uses a blower to move the snow out of the way. This prevents mounds of snow from building up along the edges of your driveway and sidewalks. Overall, this means cleaner driveways and ultimately less ice buildup throughout the season.

Our team of experienced professionals works quickly and efficiently to clear your property of snow. We understand the importance of timely snow removal, especially in the event of a winter storm. You can rest assured that we’ll be there when you need us most.

Sand & Salt Applications

Sand and salt are essential materials for effective winter snow and ice management. Proper application of sand and salt can help keep driveways, sidewalks, and other surfaces safe during winter weather conditions.

Unfortunately both sand and salt have detrimental environmental consequences, but are truly a necessity in cold weather climates such as Wisconsin. Although there are some negative consequences that come from using sand and salt, the benefits of using these materials to help maintain safe winter conditions generally outweigh the drawbacks.

Sun Prairie Lawn and Landscape prefers to use sand for de-icing purposes as it doesn’t salinate local waterways in the same way salt does. In addition, sand can provide some traction on icy surfaces.

Even though we prefer to use sand, we do offer salt applications for customers that prefer it. Salt is better at melting snow and ice, but doesn’t provide traction in the same way sand does.

Our team offers both delivery and application services to meet our customers needs. So whether you are a do-it-yourself type or prefer to have someone else take care of it, we’ve got you covered.
